VISION

To become a leading research-based education center in the field of biotechnology applications and the sustainable utilization of biological resources.

MISSION

To provide high-quality undergraduate education in the field of biological resource biotechnology that is morally grounded, ethical, competent, character-driven, and nationally conscious
To conduct and enhance the quality of creative and innovative research on the utilization and development of sustainable biological resources based on biotechnological principles.
To implement and improve the quality and quantity of community service through public education on the utilization and sustainable development of biological resources.

OBJECTIVES

To produce high-quality graduates who excel in biotechnology, possess critical thinking skills, are innovative, professional, entrepreneurial, and capable of becoming leaders and agents of change at national and global levels.
To develop innovative research in the field of biological resource biotechnology that contributes to solving societal, industrial, and national problems, with publications in reputable journals to advance the field of biotechnology.
To apply research and community service outcomes based on biotechnology to support the sustainability of biological resources, improve community welfare, and foster entrepreneurship based on technology and innovation.

STRATEGIES

To implement effective governance and management in accordance with university and faculty policies to achieve good governance;
To strengthen national and international collaborations in order to develop adaptive, flexible, and responsive global scientific knowledge addressing global issues;
To enhance student quality, achievements, competitiveness, soft skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and competence to become job creators in the biotechnology sector;
To develop the potential of academic and educational staff to improve the quality and competitiveness of the Biotechnology Study Program;
To manage finances transparently and provide necessary infrastructure and facilities to support the smooth execution of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education;
To conduct teaching and learning processes with quality assurance and evaluation mechanisms;
To carry out innovative and multidisciplinary research aligned with the vision and mission of the Biotechnology Study Program, in accordance with scientific development and technological advancement;
To conduct community service (PkM) by the academic community that addresses and solves societal problems through the dissemination of science and technology relevant to their field of expertise;
To produce research and community service outcomes that can solve environmental problems and align with industrial developments in the field of biotechnology through the sustainable use of biological resources.
