{"id":4912,"date":"2025-10-23T10:19:37","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T03:19:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biotek.fsm.undip.ac.id\/v1\/?p=4912"},"modified":"2025-10-31T11:00:34","modified_gmt":"2025-10-31T04:00:34","slug":"aspire-2025-successfully-hosts-international-research-and-innovation-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biotek.fsm.undip.ac.id\/v1\/2025\/10\/23\/aspire-2025-successfully-hosts-international-research-and-innovation-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"Aspire 2025 Successfully Hosts International Research and Innovation Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"1098\"><strong data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"405\">Semarang, 4\u20135 October 2025<\/strong> \u2013 The highly anticipated <strong data-start=\"431\" data-end=\"446\">Aspire 2025<\/strong>, organized by the <strong data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"496\">Biotechnology Study Program, Diponegoro<\/strong> <strong>University <\/strong>in collaboration with <strong data-start=\"465\" data-end=\"496\">Biotechnology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology,<\/strong>\u00a0<strong data-start=\"519\" data-end=\"554\">Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS)<\/strong>, has officially concluded, leaving behind a wave of inspiration, innovation, and collaboration.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"1098\">The event opened with a seminar session featuring two distinguished speakers. <strong data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"746\">Prof. Dr. Hermin Pancasakti Kusumningrum, S.Si., M.Si<\/strong>, lecturer of the Biotechnology Study Program, Diponegoro University, delivered a presentation entitled <em data-start=\"851\" data-end=\"942\">\u201cMarine Genomics and Biodiversity: Biotechnological Approaches for Ocean Sustainability.\u201d<\/em> Meanwhile, <strong data-start=\"954\" data-end=\"979\">Dr. Lucky Poh Wah Goh<\/strong>, Head of the Biotechnology Study Program at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, also shared insightful perspectives in his session entitled <em data-start=\"1111\" data-end=\"1186\">\u201cHealth Biotechnology and the Sustainable Development Goals: Innovation for Better Lives\u201d. <\/em>These sessions set the tone for the event, inspiring participants to explore the intersection between scientific discovery and sustainability.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"1098\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4918\" src=\"https:\/\/biotek.fsm.undip.ac.id\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Cuplikan-layar-2025-10-05-090523.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"1098\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4919\" src=\"https:\/\/biotek.fsm.undip.ac.id\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Screenshot-2025-10-31-105553.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1161\" height=\"660\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"1098\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4917\" src=\"https:\/\/biotek.fsm.undip.ac.id\/v1\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Cuplikan-layar-2025-10-05-105730.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" \/><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"375\" data-end=\"1098\">This year\u2019s event brought together 43 teams and 107 participants from leading universities across Indonesia, who showcased their research and ideas in a spirited competition that celebrated both academic excellence and creativity. Complementing the competition, the Aspire 2025 webinar drew an audience of more than 100 enthusiastic participants, highlighting the strong interest and passion for knowledge-sharing among young scholars.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1100\" data-end=\"1976\">The competition was marked by remarkable energy and determination, with participants presenting their innovative works in front of a distinguished panel of judges. After a series of challenging rounds, the judges proudly announced the champions: <strong data-start=\"1346\" data-end=\"1366\">Ofin Hasrat Lase<\/strong> from the <strong data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1407\">University of North Sumatra<\/strong> emerged as the <strong data-start=\"1423\" data-end=\"1445\">first-place winner<\/strong>, followed by <strong data-start=\"1459\" data-end=\"1478\">Derzu Toriqally<\/strong> from <strong>Universitas <\/strong><strong data-start=\"1484\" data-end=\"1510\">Gadjah Mada<\/strong>\u00a0in <strong data-start=\"1514\" data-end=\"1530\">second place<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1536\" data-end=\"1567\">Ananda Muhammad Rakha Putra<\/strong> from <strong data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1598\">Diponegoro University<\/strong> in <strong data-start=\"1602\" data-end=\"1617\">third place<\/strong>. In addition to the main awards, Aspire 2025 also recognized outstanding achievements through special categories, with <strong data-start=\"1737\" data-end=\"1758\">Best Presentation<\/strong> awarded to <strong data-start=\"1770\" data-end=\"1790\">Ofin Hasrat Lase<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1795\" data-end=\"1810\">Best Poster<\/strong> awarded to <strong data-start=\"1822\" data-end=\"1847\">Stevyka Frista Aninda<\/strong> from <strong data-start=\"1853\" data-end=\"1880\">UPN \u201cVeteran\u201d East Java<\/strong>. These winners exemplify the talent, creativity, and dedication that Aspire seeks to cultivate.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"2717\">More than just a competition, Aspire 2025 served as a vibrant platform for growth and collaboration. The accompanying webinar sessions became a space where over a hundred participants engaged in meaningful academic discussions, exchanged insights, and explored innovative perspectives across disciplines. This dynamic interaction underscored Aspire\u2019s mission to nurture a culture of research and innovation while also building networks that extend beyond the boundaries of the event. The collaboration between the Biotechnology Study Program, Diponegoto University and Universiti Malaysia Sab<strong>ah<\/strong> added an international dimension, showcasing how cross-border partnerships can strengthen scientific exchange and enrich the experiences of young scholars.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2719\" data-end=\"2820\">Reflecting on the event\u2019s success, <strong>Dr. Sri<\/strong><strong data-start=\"2754\" data-end=\"2771\"> Pujiyanto, S.Si., M.Si.<\/strong>, Head of the Biotechnology Study Program, expressed,<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2821\" data-end=\"3157\">\n<p data-start=\"2823\" data-end=\"3157\">\u201cAspire 2025 is not just about winning titles; it is about building bridges among young researchers, cultivating creativity, and nurturing the leaders of tomorrow. The enthusiasm and brilliance of our participants remind us that the future of academia and innovation in Indonesia, and the wider region, is bright and full of promise.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"3159\" data-end=\"3598\">This year\u2019s Aspire 2025 was held as part of the <strong data-start=\"3207\" data-end=\"3239\">World Class University (WCU)<\/strong> initiative, under the program <strong data-start=\"3270\" data-end=\"3299\">\u201cKelompok Mahasiswa SDGs\u201d<\/strong>, with <strong data-start=\"3306\" data-end=\"3325\">Adeline Hartono<\/strong> serving as <strong data-start=\"3337\" data-end=\"3352\">Chairperson<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"3357\" data-end=\"3383\">Ditta Putri Kumalasari, M.Si.<\/strong> <strong>and Arina Amalia Putri, S.Si., M.Si., <\/strong>as <strong data-start=\"3387\" data-end=\"3407\">Person in Charge<\/strong>. Their leadership and dedication ensured the event\u2019s smooth execution and its alignment with the global goals of sustainable development, fostering a spirit of innovation with social impact.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"131\" data-end=\"541\">The competition featured an esteemed panel of judges consisting of Dr. rer. nat. Anto Budiharjo, S.Si., M.Biotech, Dr. Suhaini Sudi from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Arina Amalia Putri, S.Si., M.Si, and Ditta Putri Kumalasari, M.Si. Their expertise and insightful evaluation played a crucial role in recognizing the most innovative and impactful research presented during Aspire 2025.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3600\" data-end=\"4092\">As Aspire 2025 concludes, it leaves behind more than just a list of winners\u2014it leaves a legacy of ideas shared, collaborations initiated, and inspiration ignited.
